Happy Mother’s Day 2017!

Happy Mother’s Day 2017!

The love springing from a mother’s heart is unconditional, all-encompassing and everlasting like no other.

This is one day to recognize the importance of the role of all mothers not just in each child’s life but also in each partner, in each family and in society and around earth as a whole.

Mothers are givers. All mothers in spite of the end-results of their actions and decisions towards their loved ones, embody souls who only desire to thrive for the very best for their children, for their surrounding families and environments. The motherly bond like no other relationship, has the very best of intentions at the heart of everything performed.

When we think of the love of our Mother Earth, of our Mother Nature and our earth-lings, we realize that the relationship between mothers and their children is also very unique in its nature.  It is an unconditional bond which only grows in strength as time evolves. All other relationships my be somewhat more negotiable and our love may be weighed upon so many things according to how much it may affect us and benefit us or our vested interests. Yet, the love from a mom to her babies and children is something which flows from a place so deep that is defeats all the rules of gravity which tend to burden relationships: such as anger, resentment, neglect, etc. Mothers even in the worst of circumstances are inspired to always give first; they will give even from what they don’t have. Mothers will protect, care for, cherish, adore, serve and give in full of themselves for the best of their children.

I know from my humble experience of being a mother for the past eight years that this is a love like no other I’ve ever felt or endured. In all my other deepest relationships there were still prevailing stains from my ego burdening the purity of true unconditional love. For example, if my partner was to wake me up in the middle of the night for many years on a row every single night due to nightmares or any reason whatsoever, I would probably give up on jumping out of bed to help him out after a while…. However, with any of my children whether they wake me up to call me due to a bad dream, or being too hot, or too cold, or too hungry, or for whatever reason; I am eager to jump out from my deepest dream to run to their rescue with a smile… I wish I could develop that same kind of devotion to all my relationships to that equal measure… Still a work in progress on my part. This is why I believe the love of a mother is a very unique selfless one indeed. One to imitate and aspire to embody and to give at all times.

Today, as it should be done every single day, represents an opportunity to cherish all mothers and their many blessings because their love shines through each of their children, through each gesture of kindness and through their infinite spirit to give, to love and to serve.

Let’s hope the motherly spirit shines upon the world and brings its simplicity and wisdom to all of us to learn to love and give to each other to that same unconditional level of surrendering of one’s ego for the best of another.

All motherly love has the potential to impregnate the soul of all givers and to heal the world with its unconditional love and peace. Let’s commit to learn from this love and bless the world with its intrinsic and selfless beauty!
